A title defined by the breed club

Responsibility for the Club Veteran Champion sits with the breed-specific clubs that operate under the DKK. These clubs decide what a dog must achieve to earn the title, and the requirements are not the same from one breed to the next.

Because the criteria are set at club level, check the rules published by the breed club that covers your breed before assuming what will count toward the title.

Age and the veteran class

The title is normally limited to veterans, meaning dogs from eight years of age. The exact age condition follows the criteria of the issuing breed club.

Recording the title

The DKK does not administer or verify this title. Confirmation comes from the breed club that awards it.

To have the Club Veteran Champion shown on a dog result overview, it must be registered manually, for which a fee applies.
