Danish Junior Champion
The Danish Junior Champion title (DKJUCH), awarded by the DKK, is built on three JCAC awards won in the Junior class in Denmark. The JCAC is the junior certificate given at shows recognised for this purpose, and collecting three of them under the right conditions completes the title.
What's required?
- ✓ 3× JCAC in Denmark in de jeugdklasse op DKK-erkende show/Nordic show/internationale show/DKK centrale show/DKK winner-show, under at least 3 different judges
Earning the title
A dog needs three JCAC awards to become Danish Junior Champion. Each JCAC must be won in the Junior class at a show held in Denmark.
The qualifying shows are those recognised by the DKK, Nordic shows recognised by the NKU, international (CACIB) shows, DKK centrally organised shows and DKK-selected Winner shows.
Judges behind the three JCACs
The three JCACs must come from at least three different judges. One judge can therefore contribute only one of the required awards toward the title.
Age at the show
The JCAC counts only when the dog is within the junior age range on the day of the show. That means the dog must be at least 9 months old and under 18 months old when it competes.
Frequently asked questions
Can I earn all three JCACs under the same judge?
No. The three JCACs must be awarded by at least three different judges, so a single judge can account for only one of them.
Do the shows have to be held in Denmark?
Yes. The qualifying JCACs must be won at shows in Denmark that are recognised for this title, including DKK-recognised shows, Nordic (NKU) shows, international CACIB shows, DKK centrally organised shows and DKK-selected Winner shows.
