How the title is earned

DKBRCH recognises working performance rather than show results. The qualifying requirements are defined by breed within the DKK Show Regulations 2026, organised by FCI group 1 to 10. Because these requirements vary from breed to breed, the applicable rules for a given dog have to be checked against the relevant group section.

DKK confirms whether a dog meets the conditions through its registration records, so eligibility is verified against the official DKK administration.

Specialisations

The title comes in several forms depending on the type of working discipline. The base title is written as DKBRCH, while the specialised versions add a suffix: DKBRCH(D) for drive work, DKBRCH(G) for den and earth work, and DKBRCH(S) for tracking.

Each specialisation follows its own breed-specific requirements as laid down in the DKK group rules.
