German Junior Club Champion (DRC)
The Deutscher Jugendchampion Club is the junior champion title awarded by the Deutscher Retriever Club (DRC). A dog earns it by winning three DRC junior awards (DRC-Jugend-Anwartschaft) in the junior class at DRC events in Germany.
What's required?
- ✓ 3× DRC JCAC in Germany in de jeugdklasse, under at least 3 different judges
Notes
- • DRC-Jugend-Anwartschaft (DRC_JCAC) telt - wordt op DRC SRAs en op DRC Sonderschauen vergeven.
- • Vereenvoudiging: SRA/Sonderschau-onderscheid (PDF para 7(1): min 2 SRAs, max 1 Sonderschau) nog niet in event-data; engine telt voorlopig alle DRC-events.
- • Geen allowed_organizers-filter op deze titel: het award DRC_CAC/DRC_JCAC/DRC_VCAC wordt per definitie alleen door DRC uitgereikt — op DRC SRAs én op DRC Sonderschauen aangehangen aan VDH-shows. De award-code zelf is voldoende restrictie.
Earning the title
The title requires three DRC junior awards (DRC_JCAC). Each of these is gained in the junior class at a DRC event held in Germany.
The DRC-Jugend-Anwartschaft is only issued by the DRC itself, both at its own special shows and at DRC judging attached to VDH shows.
Judges across the three awards
The three junior awards must be given by at least three different judges. A single judge's award can therefore count only once toward the title, so a dog needs successes under a spread of judges rather than repeat wins under the same person.
Minimum age
A dog must be at least nine months old to gain a qualifying junior award for this title.
When a reserve award counts
A Reserve DRC-Jugend-Anwartschaft (RES_DRC_JCAC) can be upgraded and counted toward the title if the dog that won the award on the day already holds the title. In that case the reserve steps up to a full junior award.
Frequently asked questions
Do all three junior awards need to be won under different judges?
Yes. The three DRC junior awards must come from at least three different judges.
Can a reserve award ever help me reach the title?
It can. If the dog that took the junior award already holds the title, your Reserve DRC-Jugend-Anwartschaft is upgraded and counts as a qualifying award.
