German Veteran Club Champion (DRC)

DE_VET_CH_DRC Deutscher Retriever Club (DE) Germany Veteran

The Deutscher Veteranenchampion Club is awarded by the Deutscher Retriever Club (DRC) to veteran dogs shown in Germany. It is built on the DRC veteran certificate (DRC-Veteranen-Anwartschaft), which the DRC hands out at its own SRAs and at DRC Sonderschauen held alongside VDH shows.

What's required?

  • ✓ 3× DRC VCAC in Germany in de veteranenklasse/veteranenklas, under at least 3 different judges

Notes

  • • DRC-Veteranen-Anwartschaft (DRC_VCAC) telt - wordt op DRC SRAs en op DRC Sonderschauen vergeven.
  • • Geen allowed_organizers-filter op deze titel: het award DRC_CAC/DRC_JCAC/DRC_VCAC wordt per definitie alleen door DRC uitgereikt — op DRC SRAs én op DRC Sonderschauen aangehangen aan VDH-shows. De award-code zelf is voldoende restrictie.

Earning the title

A dog needs three DRC veteran certificates (DRC_VCAC), each won in the veteran class at a show in Germany.

The three certificates must come from three different judges. Results won under the same judge do not add a second qualifying certificate toward the total.

Minimum age

The dog must be at least 96 months old, so eight years, at the time the veteran certificate is awarded. Below that age the dog is not eligible for this title.

Reserve certificate

A reserve veteran certificate (RES_DRC_VCAC) can count toward the title when the dog placed ahead of it already holds the required title. In that case the reserve is upgraded and counts as a full certificate.

Frequently asked questions

Where are the veteran certificates awarded?

They are given only by the DRC, both at DRC SRAs and at DRC Sonderschauen attached to VDH shows.

Can I collect the three certificates under one judge?

No. The three certificates must be awarded by at least three different judges.
