FCI International Beauty and Working Champion
The FCI International Beauty and Working Champion (CIBT) is awarded to dogs that already hold two separate international titles: the International Beauty Champion (CIB) and the International Working Champion (CIT). It combines success in the show ring with a proven working qualification, which is why only certain breeds can compete for it.
What's required?
- ✓ Hold all underlying titles: FCI International Beauty Champion, FCI International Working Champion
Earning the title
The CIBT is built on two existing titles rather than on a fresh set of show or trial results. A dog qualifies once it has been awarded both the CIB, covering its results in conformation, and the CIT, covering its working qualification.
Because both component titles must be held, work towards the CIBT effectively runs along two tracks in parallel. The title follows automatically from meeting both conditions.
Which breeds are eligible
The CIBT is open to breeds in FCI groups 1, 2, 3, 6, 7 and 8. These are the groups where a recognised working qualification exists alongside conformation assessment.
The breed must also be eligible for the CACIB, the certificate that counts towards international conformation titles. Breeds outside these groups, or those not eligible for the CACIB, cannot compete for the CIBT.
Frequently asked questions
