FCI International Herding Champion

CITR Fédération Cynologique Internationale Working / hunting

The FCI International Herding Champion is awarded once a dog has gained two CACITR awards. To keep the title genuinely international, those two awards cannot come from the same setting: they must be won in at least two different countries and under at least two different judges.

What's required?

  • ✓ 2× CACITR, under at least 2 different judges, in at least 2 different countries
  • ✓ This rule must be confirmed manually. (manual check required)

Earning the two CACITR awards

The title rests on two CACITR awards. Winning both under the same judge, or within a single country, does not meet the standard. Spread across at least two countries and at least two judges, the two awards together complete the requirement for the FCI International Herding Champion.

Age and grading

A dog must be at least 15 months old at the show to qualify for a CACITR that counts toward the title. Alongside the age requirement, the dog needs a grading of at least Very Good.
