FCI International Show Champion
The FCI International Show Champion (CIE) is awarded by the FCI to dogs of working breeds that gather four CACIBs under set conditions. The CACIB is the international certificate awarded at FCI shows and counts toward international championship titles. This title applies only to breeds that the FCI Breeds Nomenclature defines as working breeds.
What's required?
- ✓ 4× CACIB, under at least 3 different judges, in at least 3 different countries, with at least 1 year between first and last · CIE is uitsluitend voor rassen die volgens de FCI Breeds Nomenclature als werkras zijn gedefinieerd. Handmatig bevestigen dat het ras hieraan voldoet. (manual check required)
Notes
- • Only for breeds defined as working breeds per FCI Breeds Nomenclature (DKK Show Regulations 2026 p.31).
- • Alleen voor rassen gedefinieerd als werkras volgens FCI Breeds Nomenclature (DKK Show Regulations 2026 p.31).
Earning the title
A dog needs four CACIBs to qualify for the CIE. These awards cannot all come from the same setting. They must be gained under at least three different judges and in at least three different countries.
The results also have to be spread over time. At least 366 days must pass between the first and the last CACIB that count toward the title.
Working breeds only
The CIE is reserved for breeds classified as working breeds in the FCI Breeds Nomenclature. Whether a breed qualifies is confirmed against that classification, so it is worth checking your breed's status before working toward the title.
