International Beauty Champion (CIB) - with working test
The International Beauty Champion with working test (CIB) is awarded by the Raad van Beheer to dogs that combine show results with a valid working result. You need two CACIB awards and a qualifying result from the field or an examination.
What's required?
- ✓ 2× CACIB, under at least 2 different judges, in at least 2 different countries, with at least 1 year between first and last
- ✓ At least one qualifying field trial result. Confirm manually. (manual check required)
Notes
- • Application is handled by the RvB Championships department (not via FCI).
- • Aanvraag loopt via afdeling Kampioenschappen RvB (niet via FCI).
Earning the CIB with working test
The title rests on two parts. Your dog must gain two CACIB awards under the required conditions, and it must record one accepted working result.
Both parts count together. The show component confirms conformation across separate occasions, while the working result confirms that the dog performs the task expected of the breed.
The two CACIB awards
The two CACIBs cannot be gained on the same terms. They must come from at least two different countries and be awarded by at least two different judges.
There is also a spread over time: at least 366 days must lie between the first and the last CACIB. This means the two awards fall more than a full year apart.
The working result
Alongside the CACIBs, your dog needs one qualifying working result. A field trial result of first, second or third prize counts, and so does a rating of "Zeer goed" in a field trial. Alternatively, a passed IPO-I examination satisfies this requirement.
One of these results is enough to complete the working side of the title.
Applying for the title
The application runs through the Raad van Beheer's championship department, not through the FCI.
