Dutch Veteran Champion
The Nederlands Veteranenkampioen title is awarded by the Raad van Beheer to veteran dogs that win their class repeatedly at Dutch shows. A dog qualifies after three first places in the Veteran class, each with the qualification Excellent (Uitmuntend), gained in the Netherlands.

Earning the title
The three qualifying results must be won in the Veteran class at events held in the Netherlands. Eligible events are a Dutch CAC show, a CACIB show, or a championship club match (kampioenschapsclubmatch).
Each result counts only when the dog takes first place with the qualification Excellent. The three placements must be awarded by at least two different judges, so the same judge cannot supply all three wins.
Minimum age
The dog must be at least 96 months old on the day of the show for a result to count toward this title.
Registration and the CAC on record
The title is not granted automatically once the results are in; it has to be registered with the Raad van Beheer before it appears on the dog's record.
When the title is registered, one CAC is added automatically. If that CAC gives the dog enough points to also meet the requirements for the Nederlands Kampioen (NL_CH) title, that title is then granted as well.
No separate Veteran CAC
There is no Veteran CAC. The qualifying results are first places with Excellent in the Veteran class, not CAC awards won in that class.

Can one judge award all three placements?
No. The three first places must come from at least two different judges.
Do results from shows abroad count?
No. The qualifying placements must be won at events held in the Netherlands: a Dutch CAC show, a CACIB show, or a championship club match.
Is the title awarded automatically once I have the three results?
No. You need to register the title with the Raad van Beheer before it is recorded. Registration also adds one CAC, which can in turn lead to the NL_CH title if it completes the points needed for it.
