Nordic Champion
The Nordic Champion title (NORDICCH) is awarded by the Nordic Kennel Union to dogs that collect three Nordic Show Certificates at Nordic shows and already hold a national beauty champion title. The certificates must be won across several countries and under several judges, and the dog needs to have reached a set age for at least one of them.
What's required?
- ✓ 3× Nordic Show Certificate in de jeugdklasse/tussenklasse/gebruikshondenklasse/open klasse/kampioensklasse/veteranenklasse op Nordic show, under at least 3 different judges, in at least 3 different countries
- ✓ The dog must hold an external (foreign or national) title. Confirm manually. (manual check required)

Earning the title
A dog needs three Nordic Show Certificates (Nordic CAC) won at Nordic shows. These certificates can be gained from the Junior, Intermediate, Working, Open, Champion or Veteran class.
Alongside the certificates, the dog must hold a national beauty champion title in the country where it is registered. For a dog registered in Denmark, for example, that title is the DKCH.
Spreading the certificates
The three certificates cannot all come from the same show environment. They must be won in at least three different countries and under at least three different judges.
At least one of the three certificates has to be awarded after the dog has reached 24 months of age.
Reserve certificate transfer
If the winner of a Nordic Show Certificate already holds the Nordic Champion title, or is disqualified, the certificate passes to the reserve winner. This transfer moves only one step and does not continue further down the placings.
Dogs registered in Iceland
Icelandic quarantine rules allow a dog registered in Iceland to win all three Nordic Show Certificates within Iceland, so the requirement to spread certificates across different countries does not apply in the usual way. These cases are checked manually before the title is confirmed.
