Nordic Veteran Champion
The Nordic Veteran Champion title is awarded by the Nordic Kennel Union to veteran dogs that gather three Nordic Veteran Certificates at Nordic shows. Each certificate is earned in the veteran class, and the dog must also have received the CK quality mark to be eligible.

Earning the title
Three Nordic Veteran Certificates are needed for the Nordic Veteran Champion title. All three are awarded in the veteran class at shows that carry Nordic show status.
A certificate only counts when the dog has been given the CK quality mark in the veteran class. The CK is not registered as a separate award, so the issuing organisation confirms this eligibility as part of processing the title.
Spreading the certificates across judges and countries
The three certificates must come from three different judges. They must also be won in at least two different countries within the Nordic area.
This spread is checked across the full set of results, so a dog cannot complete the title under a single judge or within one country alone.
Minimum age
The dog must be at least 96 months old (eight years) on the day of the show for a Nordic Veteran Certificate to count.
Dogs registered in Iceland
For dogs registered in Iceland, Icelandic quarantine rules allow all three certificates to be earned within Iceland, provided they come from three different judges. The requirement to compete in two countries does not apply in this case, and the issuing organisation verifies these results manually.

Does the CK count as one of the required certificates?
